OUR ULTIMATE GUIDE TO LOW-IMPACT WORKOUT

WHAT IS A LOW-IMPACT WORKOUT?

A low-impact workout is defined as various exercises that decrease stress on the body. In other words, the impact they have on your joints and bones is low-hence the term low-impact.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Low-impact workouts are stress-free ways to burn calories and get in shape, but how they work depends on what level you choose and the low-impact workout you do.

Life doesn’t begin with the first step, it begins the moment you open your eyes. Come into the realization that your life is yours and yours alone, so, with eyes wide open, take that first step towards a healthier you and move with purpose.

JUMP FOR JOY

Jumping is considered a no-no in a low-impact workout. But when the jumping is done on a trampoline for a rebounding workout, the benefits are two-fold: You get a great cardio intensity, and the gentleness of a low-impact exercise has been shown to speed up metabolism. Up, up, and away!

Low-impact workouts don't make you sweat all that much, but these forms of exercising can still dehydrate you. So, make sure you drink plenty of water.

A DROP OF WATER

Swimming is an intense low-impact workout with virtually no impact at all on the joints. The resistance provided by the water revs up any workout while the weightlessness of being in the water reduces the impact on your joints and bones while allowing you free movement that you are not able to do on land.
